How Boar Works

Boar helps people connect with others who are already traveling and might be able to carry small items or documents along the way.

It’s not a courier service — it’s a way to coordinate directly with real people, on their terms.

For people who need something brought

  1. Post a request Share what you need brought, the route, and your timeframe. Keep it simple and clear.
  2. Browse travelers going your way See people who are already traveling along your route and what they’re open to carrying.
  3. Reach out directly If someone looks like a good fit, you can contact them using their preferred contact method. You decide what to say — Boar suggests a message to help you start.
  4. Agree on details together You and the traveler discuss timing, handoff, and any reward directly. Nothing is automatic.
  5. Decide whether to proceed Both sides stay in control. If it doesn’t feel right, you don’t have to go ahead.

For people who are traveling

  1. Share your trip Post where you’re going and what you’d be comfortable carrying.
  2. Set your preferences Choose what types of items you’re open to, how flexible you are with handoff, and whether you expect a reward.
  3. Get contacted People who need help along your route may reach out using your preferred contact method.
  4. Decide case by case You choose whether you want to help. Nothing moves forward without your agreement.
